How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business that does the concrete work. Heardwondering Concrete only makes the introduction.

What Happens After You Reach Out

You share your address, your project and a few details. A provider contacts you to ask questions. Some will want photos. Some will want to visit and measure. Timing depends on the provider and the season.

Have your notes ready. Photos of cracks, a rough size and the date you first noticed trouble all help. A short note about how you use the space, such as daily parking or a backyard seating area, also helps a provider suggest the right fit.

What to Ask a Provider

Keep a short list handy:

  • Will you give a written quote with the full scope?
  • How thick will the slab be, and what is going under it?
  • How will you handle drainage and heavy summer rain?
  • Are control joints included, and where will they go?
  • What permits might my project need?
  • How long before I can walk or drive on it?
  • What sealing or care do you suggest?

Also ask about license and insurance, and check the answers yourself.

You Are in Control

You can say no. You can ask for another quote. You can take a few days to think. Compare, then decide. Costs vary a lot by job, so get every number in writing before you agree to anything.

Where to Stop and Hand Off

Sweeping, measuring and photographing are safe DIY steps. Pouring, grading and breaking out old slab are not. Let a provider handle those.
